Class 3 &4 went to Killhope to see the Lindisfarne Gospels. The Lindisfarne Gospels is a big sacred book like a bible. A man wrote it all by hand. The man who wrote it made a few mistakes on purpose so he wouldn’t be as perfect as God. In Art we are making a book of our own, The Sacred Book. Our pages are based on the four Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We have made a miniature page, initial page and carpet page.
