magnets and Springs

I can describe what happens when a magnet is placed near a range of materials.

I know what happens when magnets are put near one another or together

I know that unlike poles attract

I know that like poles repel

I can describe the effect of an elastic band or spring.

I can sort materials, including metals eg gold, copper, aluminium, as magnetic or non-magnetic and explain my reasons for my choices

I know how to make my test fair 
eg using the same size paper clips or the same magnet each time.
