Autumn Term 2019
We are all in Class 1.
This Term our topic is Dig, Dig, Dig.
We have been sharing some of the different places we have visited.
We found the places we have visited on a globe.
We went on an Autumn walk to explore what different signs of Autumn we could see!
We read the book Leaf Man.
We used the leaves we collected from our Autumn walk to make our very own leaf creatures!
Hedgehog Bread Rolls
We made Hedgehog Bread Rolls. They were yummy!
Woodland Trust came to our school and helped us plant our very own tree. Each tree has our name attached to it!

We have been experimenting with instruments and the sounds they make. We have been creating different rhythms.
This term our topic is Inspirational Women.
We made a class book called Our Mam's are Marvellous!
People Who Help Us
We have been talking about all of the special people who help us.
We read the book ‘The Queen’.
The talked about how the Queen was an inspirational woman. We thought about the different jobs she has to do and what it would be like to be the Queen for a day. We wrote our own diaries of what the Queen's day consists of.
Music with Mrs Hughes
We had a lovely visit from music teacher, Mrs Hughes! We did lots of singing, dancing and used different instruments! It was so much fun!

We read the Book Mr Wolf's Pancakes and enjoyed eating yummy, scrumptious pancakes for Pancake Day!
We visited church for Ash Wednesday and had some special ash put onto our forehead.
February Big Brew
We performed the song 'Spring Chicken' at our Big Brew Coffee morning!
We are currently enjoying lending books from the Library Bus!
World Book Day 2020
